How do I get started?
Our OraMD Dentist Referral Program is extraordinarily easy to join. Simply click on the link and fill out the short application form:
https://www.oramd.com/dentists/login/affiliates/signup.php#SignupForm. Once we review and approve your application, you'll receive an email with your account login information to access your personal account and track sales and commissions. This page will include access to the Patient Promotional Brochure that your staff can print out and give to your patients. It will also include your unique website address (URL) for patients to order OraMD from. We track their purchases and you receive commissions for each order and re-order.
Am I responsible for any costs?
Our referral program is free and there is absolutely no sign-up or monthly costs to you! Neither do you have to purchase or stock the product. We cover all costs, including maintaining the websites, tracking your account information, support, customer service, fulfillment, mailing out payments, etc. You simply refer your patients to your personalized OraMD order page and we compensate you for their purchases.
How do I introduce OraMD to my patients?
- Introduce OraMD to each patient as a mouthwash at the end of their treatment or hygiene appointment. Just add 1-2 drops of OraMD into two ounces of water, have them rinse and gargle, then spit it out - leaving their mouth clean and refreshed.
- Tell them that you recommend OraMD, and hand out the Patient Promotional Brochure to each patient (we provide a PDF file for you to print the brochure). The brochure will include your personalized Order Page web address, so you’ll receive commissions anytime a patient places an order.
- You may also add a link to the Order Page from your website. These links are available in your account’s Personalized Homepage.
How do you track the patients I refer to OraMD?
We use industry-standard internet browser cookies, which is a specialized software program that enables us to give you a commission credit for each order your patients place. The cookies that we use for this program are permanent – if a visitor comes to your personalized website address once, there is no expiration to that record, meaning that when they come back to order any time in the future, you'll be compensated.
Also, if someone calls to place an order over the phone, our operators will ask them, "Were you referred to us by a Dentist?" If the answer is "yes", we will look up your referral account by your name and then apply your referral account information to that customer's ID and order.
How do Lifetime Commissions work?
It's simple. When a patient you refer places an order with us, their customer ID is permanently linked to your referral account, both phone and online orders. In effect, every time they order again with the same customer account, you'll get a commission. We have a very high customer retention / return rate, and our referring dentists are generously compensated on the lifetime sales value of the customers they refer to us. This means you will earn commissions on sales even if you no longer participate in the program or retire.
What do you do with my patient's personal information when they place an order?
We simply use a customer's order information to facilitate the fulfillment of that order. We have a very secure, compliant privacy policy. We never share our customers' information with third party marketers. We also have a very strict anti-spam policy. Customers may however, upon checkout, opt-in to our weekly informational email newsletter, which also occasionally informs them of our promotions. Our email newsletter is totally voluntary, and subscribers can opt-out at any time.
Can I keep track of my referrals and commissions?
Yes, absolutely. You simply use your Username and Password to login to your Personalized Dentist Referral Homepage by going to https://www.oramd.com/dentists/login/affiliates/login.php#login, and click on the "Reports" tab on the left.
How often do you pay commissions?
We pay commissions monthly by check. Our checks are mailed on or around the 10th of each month (depending on if the 10th falls on a business day.)
Do you send 1099's for taxes on commissions earned?
If you earn $600 or more in commissions in a calendar year, we will send you a 1099 to you, stating the amount of commissions earned.

How does your 100% Money-Back Guarantee and Refunds affect commissions?
We offer a 100% Money-Back Guarantee on OraMD. If for whatever reason a patient orders OraMD and is not satisfied we will refund the full purchase price, up to a full year after the date of original purchase – no questions asked. This makes the Referral Program completely hassle free as you don't have to deal with taking back the product or returning it. We deduct referral commissions on returned products from your commission balance. We have a return rate of only around 1%, so returns are very rare, and won't affect commission amounts by very much.
